Photogenic

Being photogenic is a gift and especially in show business it could be a pretty useful one. And yet sometimes it causes disappointments when you get to meet in person someone whose pictures or videos you've liked before. So here's a story:

Im at that bar with friends, having drinks, chats... FINE TIME. After a while a girl approaches me out of nowhere, obviously intending to start a conversation. Short, oily hair, looking like she has just swallowed the Earth... When she is close enough she goes:

  •   Fat girl:  "Hey, I know you. I saw you on TV, right?"
  •   Me: " I guess so. I get that a lot ". It's important to mention that Im smiling and being very friendly.
  •   Fat girl:  "Oh my God :)))" /She cant believe it's me or what?! / "You look so much better on TV"
  •   Me: "?????!" still smiling: "You do realize that's not a compliment, right?"
  •   Fat girl: "I mean on TV you look so handsome and big... gorgeous. And now I see you are actually so skinny and small"
  •   Me: "How come you have the nerve to critisize my figure? I bet there's a freakin' butter coming out of you every time you are sweating!"

After that she just vanished, faster than Lady Gaga would if being confronted with a real stylist.

Just as always in situations like this everyone around was looking at me like "Did you have to do that" trying to impute a sense of guild. And in my mind I was like "Aaxaxaxa do you know me but at all?" I should feel guilty about that bitch calling me skinny and small?!  Sorry, she should have taken a good look of herself first, but I guess there was no mirror big enough to fit her reflection...

And after all... come on, it's time for nothing but another drink :)))
